Product Description
The latest Y62 Patrol Warrior runs the 5.6L V8 petrol engine, but like the standard Y62 it’s let down by the restrictive factory exhaust. Using chambers, baffles and valves instead of flow, it robs power and economy, and leaves the V8 sounding asthmatic. People think the factory bi-modal exhaust sounds good in isolation — until they hear one that’s been Mantafied!
The Manta exhaust system offers three upgrade options:
-
Full System (Engine Back) – Replaces the entire factory system with performance extractors, high-flow cats, and our cat-back system. Ideal if your cats have failed (common after 100,000km) or if you’re planning a supercharger.
-
Cat Back System – Dual 2.5″ mandrel-bent pipework into a single 3″, with two straight-through glass-packed mufflers to keep the noise down.
-
Centre Muffler Delete – Keeps the front and rear factory sections but adds bigger pipework off the cats with a straight-through centre muffler.
All options retain the factory bi-modal function, so you keep the switchable sound, only better. The quiet option is perfect for towing or touring, while the medium option replaces the centre muffler with a smaller resonator for more note inside and out. The loud option has a hotdog resonator for maximum noise and a bit of thong slap!
A special two-piece rear section allows fitment even with long-range tanks.
The result is a V8 soundtrack truly worthy of the Warrior badge — with sharper response, better economy, and a tone that turns heads!
